CMB Update – This publication addresses radio issues and member benefits/opportunities. We use it as a communication tool to stations and keep our membership informed on radio issues.
Salary Survey – conducted every other year, the CMB salary survey has been incredibly helpful for stations in knowing where they stand on salaries and benefits within the Christian music radio world.
Conferences – CMB provides discounts and education for a number of conferences, including: NRB, GMA, and a number of regional conferences. For current education sessions, see the events page.
Consulting – CMB works with a number of consultants to provide benefits to CMB members. Here are two consulting benefits provided by CMB:
- Goodratings Strategic Services provides two stations with free consulting for a year. Applications are taken at the end of each year and the winners are selected from those applications.
- Audience Development Group provides station critiques for free. They can also help evaluate your imaging, branding and marketing efforts for you. ADG discounts any retained services at 20% off for CMB members only
Streaming Benefit – CMB members are eligible for a discounted streaming package through our partnership with Barnabas Road media. Our stations have found it to be very beneficial. It is a cost effective way for stations to be able to have the streaming they want and need!
Customizable Image Piece - Through a partnership with Storytelling Pictures & WCSG, we have a television ready commercial and image piece that stations can use for their markets. This high quality video/dvd tells about Christian music radio through a story type approach instead of a direct artist approach. It’s message (called A VOICE YOU CAN TRUST) is one that our audience embraces. This piece would cost $20,000 to produce yourself, but for members, we are offering it to you for a significantly reduced price!
Research – We have been involved in several research projects for radio and have more planned for the future. This research is free to CMB members.
We are currently planning and negotiating for other benefits, including music research for Christian radio, marketing projects, mentoring programs, ministry campaigns, specialized CMB members only programming, and more.
Our goal is to help point the spotlight of public and industry attention toward Christian music radio. We have a product that the public actually wants--they just don't know it yet! Your membership in CMB will help get the word out and will help raise the bar for all Christian music radio stations.
